At certain times of the year (e.g. Christmas and Easter) some of these times might change.
Junior Church All Saints is delighted with the Junior Church which is open to all children and young people from across the AVMC. It meets once a month on the third Sunday of the month tying in with the monthly 'Together @ Ten' service. It currently caters for young people between the ages of 4 and 14. Some time is spent in the Church service, some work is undertaken at the back of the Church and usually the youngsters venture outside to participate in fun activities with Forest Church, supervised by our Leaders, Rebecca and Richard Remington. Everyone joins back together in the Church for the end of the Service and for refreshments afterwards, which are served at the back of the Church.
Breakfast Fare
This is run by the Church on the second Saturday each month in the Village Hall with a small selection of stalls and a range of freshly cooked delicious breakfast items. It provides both a very popular village meeting point and vital fund raising for the Church. Breakfast Fare runs from 8.30 - 11.30 am (last orders: 11.00am). All are welcome!

Friends of All Saints' Church
Friends provide a means by which people near and far can keep in touch and support the life of the Parish Church of All Saints'. They operate under the guidance of the PCC with the objective of preserving the fabric of the building and enriching the life of All Saints' Church for present and future generations. They have been highly successful in raising funds by collecting annual subscriptions and organising a range of social events which in the recent past have included a Burns Night, Orchestral Concert and Village Quiz. Further details available from the Churchwardens. If you are not already a Friend, please do consider joining!
Church Nave Restoration Project
June 2020.
We are pleased to announce that, despite some understandable delays with the “Lockdown”, the restoration of the Nave at All Saints has been completed. This was essential work as in places, ceiling plaster had become loose and small pieces had fallen over recent months. The work, undertaken by the Tim Bucknall Partnership again, has involved erecting scaffolding throughout the Nave, which accounted for a significant proportion of the cost, cleaning all the roof trusses and then re-plastering and finally painting the whole ceiling.
The PCC is thrilled with the result which, together with the previous Chancel project, means that our much-loved church is future proofed for generations to come. All that remains is for a major clean-up as, unsurprisingly, a generous layer of dust was left behind! A group of “willing volunteers” has made a start....!
Many thanks to the whole local community who supported this work; we look forward to the time when our church will be more readily open for all to appreciate the completion of this major project.
