Songs of Praise
Picture
So what are the favourite hymns and worship songs in the Axe Valley?

The answer was revealed at the 'Songs of Praise' service held at
Membury on the afternoon of Sunday 2nd June.
Mary Harding had asked in every church for people to nominate their there favourite hymns or worship songs. These were then compiled into the top nine.  People from across the Mission Community came together to sing their songs of praise. Mary had put some lovely links between each of the songs to weave them together for the service.

The top nine are, starting with the most popular:
Be still, for the Spirit of the Lord
I, the Lord of sea and sky
Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father
Love divine, all loves excelling
Morning has broken
Praise, my soul, the King of heaven!
Dear Lord and Father of mankind
Eternal Father, strong to save
Lord, the light of your love is shining
The words to all the songs can be download here and if you want to read the order of service it can be download here.
